






TAFISA and the IOC share a long standing cooperation emphasised by the IOC's official recognition of TAFISA, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organisations for the further development of selected TAFISA programmes, TAFISA's seat on the IOC Olympism365 Commission, and the IOC's patronage of many TAFISA programmes and events.







The African Union Sport Council Region 5 (AUSC Region 5) is the sports arm of the African Union, in the southernmost tip of Africa. Its main aim is to use sports to achieve peace, integration, and unity in Region 5's ten countries, using sport as a vehicle to encourage people to develop and come together irrespective of colour, economic status, political beliefs, class, or gender.

The Foundation for Sport, Development, and Peace (FSDP)'s vision is to promote, advocate, and facilitate an improved understanding and practice of sport and the application of Universal and Olympic values as tools for development, social change, and peace.





The Ibero-American Council of Sport (CID) is an intergovernmental organisation whose main objective is to promote the development of sport in Ibero-American countries through cooperation and the establishment of common action mechanisms in sports matters. The CID counts 22 member countries across the Americas and the Iberic Peninsula.


The International Working Group (IWG) on Women and Sport was founded 30 years ago in Brighton and is the world's largest network dedicated to advancing gender equality in sport and physical activity. Their vision for 2022 - 2026 is for sport and physical activity contributing to a world where all women and girls thrive. The day-to-day running of the IWG rotates around the world every four years. The UK took over from New Zealand in 2022, the Secretariat is hosted by the Sport and Recreation Alliance.

The Global Observatory for Gender Equality and Sport (The GO) was established in July 2021 with the support of UNESCO and the Swiss Confederation. Located in Lausanne, Switzerland, its mission is to promote gender equality and empower women and girls in all their diversity through physical education, physical activity, and sport (PEPAS).).

The International Platform on Sport and Development (sportanddev) is the leading global hub for those using sport to achieve social, economic and environmental goals. Sportanddev was founded in 2003 and exists to share knowledge, build good practice, facilitate coordination and foster partnerships in sport and development. The sportanddev.org website receives over 500,000 unique visitors per year from 229 countries and territories and is available in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
